This site is dedicated to the memory of Gloria Evans.

My mum Gloria, was a mother to 5 children Stephen, Teresa, Elaine, Philip and Sharon. She enjoyed her life and her family meant everything to her. Her family was her life. In her young life she enjoyed making a home and doing handicrafts like embroidery, knitting and sewing and she was a wonderful cook. She had a wicked sense of humour and enjoyed a joke, and was the life and soul of any room she was in. Her husband Islwyn died unexpectedly in 1996, of a heart attack, and that was such a shock to us all particularly mum, she had lost her life partner, it was after this that her COPD worsened. She had suffered with COPD for around 17 years but in the last 3 years of her life her quality of life was not so good, unable to go out alone or even sometimes not able to go out at all. Mum passed way on 13/1/2011. I am an Complementary Therapist, and in Late August 2011, I held a Mind, Body & Spirit Fair (giving Complimentary treatments) in Llandinam Village Hall in memory of my mum, Gloria. The day raised in total £1754.09. I have given the money to the BLF, and with the donations for mum, contributions etc, the fund has now topped £2,000. A tree has now been dedicated to my mum in Coed Tregib in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Mum I want to let you know also that your great grandson Evan Lewis Hughes is a big part of my life now, and I take care of him 1 day a week on a Tuesday. My one wish is that you would have seen him grow up a little but at least you did see him at 10 days old, and that is a blessing to me. I know you and dad can see him from where you are now. I still see your lights mum, they have turned from green to white now, they are very reassuring to me. I was proud of you mum & dad, I love you and miss you both, RIP. XXXXX Teresa 
